In May, 1963, Lion D. D. Kapur of Lions Club
Delhi Greater, the then Extension Chairman, District 304 NI, Lions Clubs
International, New Delhi approached his brother Mr. A. D. Kapur and
expressed a desire to establish a Lions Club at Jalandhar. Mr. A. D. Kapur
contacted few of his friends for this very purpose and thus our Lions Club
Jalandhar was inaugurated on 8th May, 1963 at the premises of Milap Bhawan,
